Hi, I'm Aimee!

 

I am currently a video editor and production assistant at Be Inspired Media, a creative agency based in Chelmsford. My role, fortunately, varies day-to-day, but I predominantly edit short-form content for social media. I also assist on shoots, helping set up and working as assistant camera. Our clients come from a variety of industries, from fashion to tech. 

 

I am a graduate from Bournemouth University, where I studied Media Production and achieved a First Class Honours. Studying Media Production enabled me to explore the many paths I could take into the industry, with modules focusing on radio production to animation to film editing, so my options were very wide and open. It also enabled me, due to the various avenues I studied, to discover my interest in editing.

I am an avid fan of photography, videography and graphic design. I have a passion for digital media creation and creating content for online platforms/social media. Being brought up as technology has developed, my passion for technology such as cameras, illustration software and video editing, was ignited from a young age. I look forward to my journey into the industry as it is a boundless and innovative world.​

Fun Fact: Every year I take part in a 26-mile fundraising walk through the night in London in a decorated bra! I do this for the charity breast cancer Walk the Walk for their annual 'Moonwalk'.​ Luckily for me, the team at Walk the Walk has given me the opportunity to raise awareness by inviting me to go to the House of Lords, to go on The One Show and be in several magazines such as Closer and Now.
